An Illinois native, Ashley earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the school’s flagship campus.  To date, her experience in the field has come in school, clinic, hospital, and home-health settings, where she’s helped kids with language and speech delays, feeding disorders, social skills,   fluency,   and

augmentative communication devices.  Ashley looks forward to – and finds motivation in – providing kids with the skills and tools they need to successfully communicate with friends and family in the community.  In particular, she enjoys working with kids who use augmentative and alternative communication devices, the early intervention population (0-36 months), and those children diagnosed with autism, cleft palate, or swallowing and feeding disorders.  Also worth mentioning…Ashley’s a big sports fan and is quite proud of her 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks.  And despite the absence of professional ice hockey in her new hometown, she especially looks forward to taking in all that Austin has to offer in the way of the outdoors (the water), the music, and the people.
