Cameron Williams, M.S., CCC-SLP
A former Austin resident, Cameron is glad to be back – and especially excited to
be a part of the KidTherapy team! Following the completion of his undergraduate
studies at the University of Texas, Cameron earned his graduate degree in speech-language
pathology from the University of North Texas. To date, his clinical experience has
come in the form of working with mentally handicapped adults at the Denton State
Supported Living Center and with 11-14 year olds in multiple middle school settings.
He’s also spent time working with an
assistive technology specialist for a school district, during which he developed a strong interest in programming, using, and educating patients and families on Augmentative Communication devices. In particular, Cameron enjoys assisting kids with articulation disorders and loves working with the Autism population and the challenges brought about in doing so. His motivation in working with all kids, however, comes from seeing their improvement week to week and the excitement it instills in the individual child and his or her family – especially upon the accomplishment of therapy goals.
Outside of work, you might catch this Corpus Christi native on the disc golf course or at a UT football game, cheering on his beloved Longhorns. Hook ‘em, Cameron – we’re happy to have you.
