Mary Anne Nericcio PhD, CCC-SLP

   Dr. Nericcio has thirty years of experience as a bilingual speech pathologist in Texas. Her prior experiences in higher education and the public schools include director of a speech and hearing center, assistant professor, associate professor, adjunct professor, externship director, student mentor, assistant principal, principal, district communications’  director,  and Texas  Education agency school and district assessment specialist.

She has also maintained a private practice which afforded her experiences in school districts, hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, traumatic brain injury centers and home health settings. Dr. Nericcio is a member of the Review Board for Speech Pathology.com, an American Speech, Language and Hearing Association Mentor and a Who’s Who of American Teachers. Professional Organizations include American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Texas Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Learning Disabilities Association of Texas and American Association of University Women. Texas state certifications include Superintendent, Mid-Management, Supervisor and Speech Therapy.

 

Dr. Nericcio’s most recent continuing education courses include: Using the Assessment of Literacy and Language to Screen and Diagnose Young Children, The Great 8 for SLPs and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Ethics, Evidence, and Expanding Scope of Practice.
