Sally Strudell,M.A, CCC-SLP

Sally grew up in San Antonio, Texas and has lived in Austin for many years.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and worked as an environmental chemist until realizing she craved human interaction and wanted to put her communication skills to good use. Sally returned to UT Austin to pursue her career change, graduating with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2006. She has since worked in the public school system as well as private practice settings.  Sally has experience with articulation disorders, language disorders, augmentative/ alternative communication

(including voice output devices) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome).

Her areas of special interest include fluency disorders, social skills development, and language impairment. Sally enjoys working with families, as well as other professionals, in a team-based approach to ensure each child’s success and the carry-over of therapy techniques to home, school, and community settings.
