Svetlana Selezneva, M.A., CFY-SLP
Svetlana S. Selezneva or “Ms. Lana” was born in Moscow, Russia. She moved to Phoenix,
Arizona in 1998. After graduating McNeil High School in Austin, Texas she attended
the University of Texas at Austin. In May of 2007, she graduated with Dean’s and
course honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Speech-Language
Pathology. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Distinguished Scholar and College
Scholars Awards
of Excellence from the College of Communications. In August of 2009, she received
her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at
Austin. She received a Super-Duper® Clinician Award for her professional and clinical
conduct. Svetlana has worked as a speech-language pathology intern at the UT Speech
and Hearing Center, at the Scott & White Memorial hospital, and at the Capitol School
of Austin. Currently, Svetlana is working toward her certificate of clinical compliance.
Svetlana has a broad range of clinical experiences including evaluating and treating
speech, language, and swallowing disorders in children. Her interests lie in the
diagnostic aspects of speech pathology. Svetlana strives to provide the highest quality
of services to her clients as well as to build positive relationships with the clients
and their families.
